This role develops services, scripts, and workflows using Python and .NET, integrates with internal and vendor systems via APIs and messaging, and applies strong DevOps practices to deliver robust, observable, and maintainable automation in production.
The successful candidate is comfortable working across the full delivery lifecycle - requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and support - while applying secure engineering practices and operational discipline.

This role develops services, scripts, and workflows using Python and .NET, integrates with internal and vendor systems via APIs and messaging, and applies strong DevOps practices to deliver robust, observable, and maintainable automation in production.
The successful candidate is comfortable working across the full delivery lifecycle - requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and support - while applying secure engineering practices and operational discipline.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Design and develop automation solutions to eliminate manual effort, reduce risk, and improve service reliability
- Build reusable components and frameworks for automation (API, libraries, templates, utilities)
- Create scheduled jobs, event-driven automations, and workflow orchestrations as required
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, file-based interfaces, and messaging patterns
- Design and implement data transformations, validation, and reconciliation between systems
- Work with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot integration issues and support changes
- Maintain the resource inventory updated and the CRM to provide excellent customer service support
- Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and supportable
- Develop and maintain automation services and tooling using Python
- Develop and maintain solutions using .NET
- Apply clean code practices, unit testing, and maintainable architecture
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and patterns
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation solutions (build, test, security scanning, release)
- Operate solutions in production: monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response
- Improve reliability using SRE-style practices (observability, SLIs/SLOs, runbooks, automation of toil)
- Provide support for automation services and integrations, including incident triage and resolution
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventative fixes
- Maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge articles
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, resilience, and cost efficiency
- Apply secure engineering practices: least privilege, secrets management, secure coding, dependency hygiene
- Ensure solutions comply with operational and audit requirements (logging, traceability, change control)
What Technical Skills, Experience, and qualifications do you need
- Strong software engineering experience with Python
- Experience building integrations, including:
- REST APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, API keys, certificates)
- Data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- Messaging/event-driven concepts (queues/topics) is a plus
- Experience with unit and integration testing, test automation, and applying quality gates.
- Strong code review discipline and adherence to documentation standards, using DevOps and AI tools.
- Troubleshooting skills across application, network, and data layers, with the ability to document root causes and solutions clearly.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and reliability patterns, such as timeouts, retries, and circuit breakers.
- Typically, 3-6+ years of relevant engineering experience (automation, backend, integration, or platform roles).
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic debugging approach.
- Clear communicator, comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ownership mindset, taking responsibility for outcomes in production.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver incrementally.
Good to have:
- Experience with .NET (C#, VB) in production environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform administration.
- Previous experience using DevOps:
- CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management
- Source control with Git and effective branching strategies
- Observability practices (logs, metrics, tracing) and operational readiness
- Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments is beneficial.
