Job Description

We are looking for passionate New Graduate Software Engineer Graduate (AI/ML) to join our core AI and Engineering teams at Moveworks. As a New Grad, you won't just be working on toy projects—you will help build and scale the foundation of next-generation enterprise AI across conversational search, agentic orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and core ML infrastructure.

Through our general engineering hiring track, you will be matched with one of our specialized AI/ML teams based on your skills and interests:

• GenAI Search Platform: Build conversational search systems using information retrieval, vector search, and LLMs.

• Agentic System: Develop orchestration architectures that enable LLMs to plan, reason, and execute multi-step tools.

• Agentic Harness & Quality: Create safety guardrails and runtime harnesses to ensure reliable, deterministic execution.

• Agentic Evaluation: Design automated evaluation metrics, synthetic datasets, and benchmarking frameworks.

• Core Infrastructure: Scale high-throughput, low-latency ML pipelines, inference engines, and vector databases.

What You Will Do

• Ship Production AI: Build, test, and deploy machine learning models and agentic workflows that directly impact millions of enterprise users.

• Rapid Prototyping: Collaborate with senior engineers to prototype, evaluate, and ship new LLM-powered features in a fast-paced environment.

• Solve Ambiguous Problems: Tackle complex technical challenges in NLP, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), dynamic context management, and system latency.

• Build Systematic Benchmarks: Learn to design rigourous evaluation rubrics and safety guardrails to measure accuracy, hallucination rates, and enterprise security.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, UX designers, and senior technical mentors to turn ideas into production code.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field (Graduation Date: August 2027 or earlier).

• Solid understanding of Machine Learning, NLP, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Engineering fundamentals.

• Hands-on experience writing clean, efficient code in Python, C++, or Go.

• Demonstrated project, internship, or research experience working with LLMs, modern NLP models, RAG pipelines, or ML system infrastructure.

• High curiosity, fast learning agility, and enthusiasm for solving hard engineering and AI problems.
