We have an exciting opportunity for Software Developers who will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of the Order Routing Management System (ORMS), a Tier‑1, business‑critical application that underpins Computershare’s global trading operations. ORMS acts as the integration layer between SCRIP (all regions), EquatePlus, external brokers, and global exchanges, handling trade orders across multiple markets. The role exists to address sustained business demand and ensure the long‑term stability and evolution of the platform.

Designing, developing, and maintaining application components within the ORMS platform.
Supporting and enhancing a long‑lived, mission‑critical codebase with a strong emphasis on stability, correctness, and reliability.
Collaborating closely with ORMS subject‑matter experts to absorb deep system and domain knowledge.
Diagnosing and resolving complex production issues affecting order routing, broker integration, and exchange connectivity.
Contributing to roadmap delivery aligned to the approved multi‑year ORMS investment strategy.
Participating in knowledge‑transfer activities to reduce key‑person dependency and improve team resilience.
What will you bring to the role?
Commercial experience developing and maintaining enterprise‑grade, business‑critical applications in production environments
Strong hands‑on experience with C / C++ and SQL in transaction‑based or high‑throughput systems
Proven ability to analyse, troubleshoot and support complex legacy systems
Experience working effectively in Linux‑based environments, including production support
A careful, methodical approach to working in high‑risk systems where errors have material business impact
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product Owners and cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver against priorities
