You will work closely with a whole host of departmental specialists, from Creative, Insights, to Design, and Strategy to deliver transformational social-first work for our clients.
Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, solution-oriented Social Director with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Playing equally significant internal and external roles, the successful candidate will join as an integral member of this high-profile team and will balance priorities cross-department to deliver high quality work.
You’ll will take on a dual role that blends client services expertise with hands-on social media execution. You will take ownership of client accounts, executing the strategy, planning, and delivery of social media campaigns while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with clients and internally with our teams across various offices.
Responsibilities
- Building client relationships; listen and understand individual client requirements and consistently meeting if not exceeding their expectations
- Presenting to junior & very senior clients and partner meetings and events
- Maximizing revenue from client and producing accurate costs estimates
- Experience managing a team to deliver effective performance from all levels
- Creating project briefs; brief and work with members of the internal team to develop an idea; presenting and selling that idea to the client
- Lead agency pitches within our new business process.
- Ensuring campaigns are efficiently delivered to exceptional standards, on time and in budget
- Implementing innovative social media strategies that align with client objectives
- Lead the creation of content calendars, oversee social campaigns, and analyse the performance of content.
- Develop and manage influencer and ambassador campaigns, including creating proposals, coordinating collaborations, and ensuring they deliver meaningful outcomes for clients.
- Beyond social media, you will also play the lead role in broader digital marketing projects and experiential activations, such as website campaigns, event management, or integrated brand campaigns.
- 7+ years of agency experience; tech or related industry is a strong advantage
- Strong background of account management ideally within a social & influencer environment
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage direct reports and be seen as a leader to the accounts team
- Experience with working on community management projects is a bonus
- This position requires strong organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly
