As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and driven Site Operations Manager to lead operations at our Altona warehouse in VIC.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall performance of the site, including operational excellence, safety and compliance, financial performance, customer relationships, and people leadership. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can drive high-performing teams while building a strong and positive site culture.


Requirements

Reporting into senior leadership, the Site Operations Manager will be responsible for the effective management of all site operations, ensuring customer expectations and business objectives are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and promoting a strong safety culture across the site, ensuring best practice WHS and operational compliance.
  • Managing site financial performance, including budgets and P&L accountability.
  • Driving operational performance to achieve customer KPIs and service targets.
  • Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing warehouse leadership teams and employees.
  • Providing weekly and monthly reporting, operational analysis, and business insights.
  • Managing customer relationships and stakeholder engagement to ensure a high level of service delivery.
  • Supporting and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced operational leader with strong commercial acumen and a passion for leading people.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution centre operations of a similar scale.
  • Strong leadership capability with a track record in safety, quality, compliance, and team engagement.
  • Experience managing operational budgets and P&L performance.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in both operational and commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Paperless WMS (highly regarded but not essential).
