Job DescriptionNCS Australia is seeking a SharePoint Technical Consultant for a 3-month initial contract based in Melbourne. This engagement is designed for a specialist who can hit the ground running, bringing deep technical expertise to a high-priority project. We are looking for a practitioner who understands the intricacies of SharePoint architecture—someone who can navigate complex migrations and custom builds with precision and who also has a strong background delivering SharePoint development projects
In this role, your focus will be on the technical delivery and optimization of SharePoint Online and hybrid environments. Rather than focusing on high-level strategy, you will be responsible for the "under-the-hood" work: ensuring that site architectures are robust, permissions are flawlessly mapped, and migrations are executed without data loss or downtime. It is a role for a consultant who takes pride in building stable, scalable digital workplaces for major Australian organizations.
QualificationsDuring this 3-month contract, your primary impact will come from your ability to masterfully configure and deploy SharePoint solutions:
- Architecture & Configuration: Designing and maintaining robust SharePoint site structures, document libraries, and metadata schemas to ensure optimal performance.
- Migration Execution: Leading technical migrations (e.g., from on-prem or legacy systems to SharePoint Online) using tools like ShareGate or AvePoint.
- Power Platform Integration: Developing and fine-tuning Power Automate flows and Power Apps to extend SharePoint functionality and automate business processes.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Serving as the go-to specialist for resolving complex permission issues, synchronization errors, and custom SPFx component challenges.
