If you're someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, thrives on solving complex challenges, and wants to make a tangible impact within a global organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

Some other key responsibilities:

  • Execute foreign exchange (FX) transactions, including spot, forward and swap trades, in line with treasury policies, systems and delegated authority limits.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, treasury policies, hedging strategies and approved risk management frameworks.

  • Prepare and oversee regular reporting on risk exposures, cash balances, cash flows, client funds and margin income, identifying trends and resolving reporting issues.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancement opportunities and contributing subject matter expertise to projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to investigate complex treasury-related issues, provide solutions and support business objectives.

  • Build strong relationships across regional and global teams to ensure efficient treasury operations and effective stakeholder management.

  • Support the confirmation, settlement and valuation of complex treasury and financial market transactions.

  • Monitor daily cash positions and liquidity requirements, providing forecasting insights and recommendations to support effective cash management.

What will you bring to the role?

You are a highly analytical treasury or finance professional with experience managing cash, liquidity, foreign exchange transactions and financial reporting in a complex, fast-paced environment. You have a strong understanding of risk management, compliance requirements and financial controls, coupled with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide meaningful insights that support commercial and operational decision-making. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy ensures high-quality outcomes, even when managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Equally important is your ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders across the business. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges, driving process improvements and contributing to change initiatives. With a continuous improvement mindset and a customer-focused approach, you are motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working as part of a high-performing global team.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
