Senior Test Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Test Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for a confident testing professional who can independently lead testing for small to medium-sized projects, while also driving test automation, API testing, SQL validation, and contributing to CI/CD practices. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for small to medium projects, ensuring quality delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases based on requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests, reporting defects effectively and tracking them to closure.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright (or similar frameworks).
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, backend testing, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, integration, system, API, and database testing.
• Participate in requirements and design reviews, providing a testing perspective early in the lifecycle.
• Work closely with developers and business teams to clarify requirements and expected outcomes.
• Contribute to test process improvements and QA best practices within the team.

• 8+ years of software testing experience, with at least 3 years in a Senior/Lead testing capacity.
• Strong ability to write Test Plans, Test Cases, and other testing documentation.
• Hands-on experience in automation testing with Playwright (Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools also considered).
• Proven experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools).
• Solid SQL skills for database testing and validation.
• Demonstrated experience integrating and maintaining test automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and guide team members and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong team player with the ability to mentor and support junior testers.

• Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or other test management tools.
• Broader exposure to DevOps practices and cloud environments.
