Job DescriptionOverview:
The Senior Test Analyst (SAP) will be responsible for analysing business and functional requirements - creating high quality test cases, traceability back to requirements and executing test cases. Reporting to the Test Lead/Test Manager, you will become an expert in the systems and test processes, providing regular feedback on software quality, defects and execution status.
This position will be part of the ERP (SAP) Program. You will be empowered to challenge project team members in pursuit of high software quality, raising testing risks or those that affect testing timelines or outcomes. As a key member of the Enterprise Testing team, you will also contribute to the future state testing capability, providing valuable input to continuous improvement initiatives such as test automation, continuous testing, quality metrics and Agile testing.
Responsibilities:
⦁ Requirements Validation: Provide static testing techniques to requirements to ensure that they are buildable and testable.
⦁ Test Planning & Execution: Use standard testing processes for all test planning and execution activities that include reviews, walkthroughs
⦁ Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with external testing vendors, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in engineering/technology, operations, and business.
⦁ Shift Left Testing: Observe and suggest opportunities for seeking feedback on software quality as early as possible in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for faster feedback and early defect detection.
⦁ Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement in testing practices by evaluating emerging tools, processes and technologies, assessing their feasibility, and incorporating them into the testing ecosystem.
⦁ Reporting & Metrics: Define and track relevant metrics for test delivery, reporting progress to stakeholders and using insights to refine strategies and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

⦁ Tool Proficiency: Good knowledge of industry leading tooling that optimises manual and automated testing.
⦁ Continuous Improvement: Expertise in inspecting testing processes, providing input to reduce duplication or unnecessary processes.
⦁ Shift Quality Left: Championing the implementation of activities that can validate software earlier, reducing cost of defects and improving quality

⦁ Test Delivery Demonstrable success in test planning and execution for large, complex projects.
⦁ Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience in working closely with development, QA, and business teams to integrate testing solutions seamlessly.
⦁ Measurable Impact: Ability to show measurable improvements in testing efficiency and software quality.
Experience:
Essential
⦁ Experience: Experience test planning and executing on SAP systems and integrations. Preferably in S/4HANA projects.
⦁ Business Process: Expertise in understanding and testing complex business processes and customer journeys.
⦁ Integration: Experience in understanding integration specification, designing integration tests and executing integration test cases.
⦁ Methodologies: Strong background in Agile, DevOps practices, and experience with Shift Left and Shift Right testing.
⦁ Collaborating with development/engineering teams to seek early feedback on software
Desirable
Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with new trends and technologies in the testing domain, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and test-driven development (TDD).
