Our Purpose

Here at Datacom we connect people and technology in order to solve challenges, create opportunities and discover new possibilities for the communities we live in.

About the Role

Join a fast-growth payroll SaaS leader where you will own the vision and execution of our data and integration platforms, translating complex payroll challenges into scalable, value-driven solutions for customers and their employees. You'll shape the platform strategy, set ambitious roadmaps, and mentor a cohort of product managers while representing the product at the executive table. In this senior role you'll drive end-to-end ownership, from discovery to commercialization and continuous improvement, balancing strategic bets with hands-on delivery in a data-rich, API-driven environment. Expect to unite engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and sales around a shared vision, champion a servant leadership culture, and deliver outcomes that accelerate adoption and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record delivering data or platform products in SaaS, ideally in payroll/HR data; exceptional executive communication; a data-driven, outcomes-focused mindset; and the ability to influence across multidisciplinary teams. This is your chance to shape platform strategy, accelerate your leadership career, and make a tangible difference in the way organizations pay and empower their people.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
