As Senior Supply Planner, you will manage our supply planning process to maximize service levels and optimize working capital. We are a dynamic, innovative company committed to continuous improvement and excellence in supply chain management.

About the Role:

As a Senior Supply Planner, you will oversee the external procurement of raw materials, maintain production schedules, and ensure optimal inventory health. Your proactive communication with internal stakeholders and strategic planning will be critical to our success.

In this role, you will play a key role in cross-functional collaboration, providing advice, escalating issues, and driving process improvements. Working closely with demand planning, resolve customer service issues, and support network planners in mitigating risks and prioritizing SKUs. Act as the primary contact for raw material suppliers and ensure smooth execution of the master production plan with operations. Collaborate with sales and marketing on new product development and promotions, overseeing NPD project outputs and resolving master data issues.

You will also lead, coach, and develop others, including a direct report, and be a pivotal player in our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to enhance your leadership skills while contributing to our supply chain transformation. You’ll need to challenge the status quo while maintaining a balanced approach to operational efficiencies and broader business impacts.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute supply plans to ensure stock availability at the right place, time, and price.

  • Manage inventory movement to achieve stock turn and service level goals.

  • Analyze demand, monitor supplier deliveries, and manage production plans to meet customer service targets.

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and maintain master data accuracy.

  • Generate and execute master production schedules for AU manufactured SKUs.

  • Provide inventory reporting for performance tracking and audit purposes.

  • Support network planning during low resource periods.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in supply capability, waste reduction, and cost efficiency.

  • Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management System responsibilities.

Who You Are:

With at least 5 years of production planning experience, you will bring expertise in supply chain management, master production scheduling, and supply/demand planning within a large FMCG manufacturing environment. Additionally, you will be:

  • Proficient in supply planning systems (SAP/APO/S4/HANA skills highly regarded however, similar ERP considered), reporting tools, and advanced Excel (Power BI skills also highly regarded).

  • Experienced with demand and supply planning processes.

  • Equipped with strong problem-solving and project management skills.

  • Skilled in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and supply chain planning concepts.

  • Analytical, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • A strong leader, capable of driving change and influencing others.

  • Highly organized, with strong time management and prioritization skills.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
