About the Role (your why)

As a Senior Solution Specialist, you will be a key member of our Information Management and Productivity Solutions team working alongside customers to co-create solutions that transform and modernise the way they work. You will consult on, design, build, and support end to end Microsoft 365 solutions that strengthen collaboration, information management, and productivity, unlocking fresh possibilities for the future of work.

You will be accountable for delivering a first-class consulting experience for consumers of our Intelligent Workplace services. Using a consultative and co-design approach, you will work closely with customers to explore needs, share insights and shape solutions together. You will provide clear advice and guide decision making through best practice, and lead project delivery using modern methodologies that value inclusion, transparency and continuous feedback in a fast-paced environment.

Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!

As we are an Australia & New Zealand team, for this role will be seeking applications from Australian geographies only.

Please note that due to customer requirements, this role requires Australian Citizenship and eligibility to undertake a Federal Government NV1 Security Clearance

What you'll do

As a Senior Solution Specialist - M365 you will be focused on:

  • Consultancy, help an organisation solve problems, make decisions, or achieve specific outcomes, by leading with co-design principles and providing advice, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality customer presentations, product demonstrations and workshops.
  • Gather, translate, and analyse business requirements developing project documentation including solution designs documents, recommendation reports and systems as-built.
  • Provide technical leadership for customers Microsoft 365 environments, information management and Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Build and deploy solutions within Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Lead and execute migration projects. Migrating information from legacy systems into SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Providing customers with advice on effective document control and records management practices to support compliance and maintain information integrity.
  • Build customer capability through coaching, demonstrations and training. Develop training materials.
  • Providing effort estimates for proposals and supporting presales activities.
  • Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (EG: Change/release)
  • Provide governance and support to customers Microsoft 365 and Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.

What you’ll bring:

Required experience:

  • Proven experience as a consultant in an ICT professional services environment.
  • Extensive knowledge designing, building and deploying solutions using M365 Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience migrating content into Microsoft 365 from legacy platforms.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, including designing and leading customer workshops. · Exceptional verbal, written (technical and business writing), and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into business requirements and practical M365 based solutions.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise information architectures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing Power Automate workflows and Power Apps.
  • Extensive knowledge of core M365 collaboration services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.
  • Experience using Microsoft Purview for information management and information protection.
  • Experience developing PowerShell scripts to support automation and administration.
  • A solid working knowledge and understanding of information management principles

Nice to have:

  • Experience developing custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, C# and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience building custom integrations between M365 and line of business systems.
  • Experience with AvePoint tools such as Opus, Backup, Cloud Governance, Policies and Insights and Fly.
  • Experience using ShareGate for migration and administration.
