Your day at NTT DATA
As a Senior Software Lifecycle Specialist at NTT DATA, you will be our clients' trusted advisor for software, helping them maximize the value of their software investments and ensuring their overall satisfaction and loyalty. Your key role is to build and maintain strong client relationships, driving the adoption, expansion, and renewal of our software offerings.
You will work closely with our Client Managers and Service delivery Managers to ensure seamless and effective client engagement. You will create and manage Software Success plans that promote accelerated software usage and feature adoption, aligning your efforts with the clients' business and operational objectives.
Your day-to-day activities will include conducting regular training programs to guide clients on utilizing specific software features, as well as identifying and seizing opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will ensure regular business reviews are held to demonstrate the value of our solutions, and you will be responsible for reporting success metrics back to our organization and its vendors.
As the conduit between our Client Managers, Professional Services, and Consulting teams, you will document case studies and design best practices for software-defined infrastructure, usage, and adoption. You will also support our Client Success Managers in securing successful on-time renewals, making sure we fully leverage vendor rebates and lifecycle credits.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:
  • Advanced experience in account planning, stakeholder mapping, and management techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of our products, services, and core functionalities, along with an understanding of industry insights and the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent sales skills, including consultative selling, negotiation, and the ability to close deals.
  • Proficiency in executing on-time renewals with minimal volume or price churn.
  • Advanced understanding of IT service environments, service operations, ITIL practices, and financial statements.
  • Ability to manage contracts and communicate their value to clients effectively.
  • Ability to interpret clients' business strategies and identify opportunities for our solutions and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain solid stakeholder relationships up to the management level.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by good questioning and analytical abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Financial acumen knowledge and understanding.
