Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled OPP scheduler practitioner to assist with schedule enhancement deployment across the business. The successful candidate will join the RAAF Wedgetail Development Program Integrated Planning & Scheduling Team.
The role can be performed from Brisbane or Williamtown offices. You will be working closely with the Program Scheduling Lead, and emersed in Boeing Best Schedule Practices with a strategic focus on Programmatic planning that will enable you to support the needs of many different executing projects and proposals for new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support executing projects scheduling and status needs
  • Assist / lead programmatic development and maintenance of strategic planning artifacts to support execution.
  • Assist, lead & develop IP&S schedule execution reporting improvements and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide surge campaign support to meet project demands, including leading complex schedule development efforts that align with program execution plans

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with OPP in the Defence Industry, COBRA usage is an advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in scheduling or program planning with 3+ years within the defence industry, or a relevant degree with 3+ years within the defence industry
  • Extensive experience in operating Project Scheduling & Earned Value in a commercial environment
  • Strong knowledge of project planning principles and techniques to achieve desired project outcome, including resource management
  • Strong Knowledge of planning & scheduling theory, concepts and principles required to deliver project outcomes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop collaborative relationships in a team-based environment and builds rapport and trust among stakeholders
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance.
