WHO YOU ARE 

This Darwin-based role will drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of fit out and finishes packages, ensuring technical, programme, and commercial outcomes are achieved on complex construction projects. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering fit out and finishes scopes on commercial or residential projects ($10M+)
  • Strong technical capability with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and resolve design challenges
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors, programme coordination, and site delivery
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, buildability, and sequencing
  • Solid knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance requirements within construction environments
  • High level of commercial awareness, including variations, cost impacts, and scope management
  • Strong organisational and reporting capability with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with consultants, site teams, and stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage fit out and finishes packages from procurement through to delivery
  • Drive programme outcomes, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions to mitigate delays
  • Review drawings, specifications, and material schedules, resolving design and coordination issues with consultants
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring alignment to programme, quality, and safety requirements
  • Oversee procurement inputs including scope definition, subcontractor engagement, and package delivery sequencing
  • Identify, assess, and manage variations, ensuring timely communication and commercial alignment
  • Monitor installation quality and compliance with design intent, specifications, and DCOH standards
  • Lead defect identification and close-out processes across all finishes works
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with building codes, project specifications, and safety systems
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to maintain strong safety and quality performance
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and package tracking
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and consultants to resolve issues and drive delivery outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to a high-performing site culture and represent DCOH in a professional and commercially focused manner
