Job DescriptionAbout the role
You will lead end-to-end design of experiences that guide hirers toward choosing SEEK's flexible platform, ensuring measurable activation and repeat usage. Working within SEEK's Hiring Automation space, you will shape how hirers discover, register and request flex labour across SEEK and Sidekicker platforms.
Reporting to the Design Lead - Hiring Automation, you will collaborate with Product, Engineering and Analytics teams to reduce friction in the hiring funnel and explore new commercial opportunities. You will connect customer insights with platform capabilities to design cross-platform journeys that make flexible workforce solutions accessible and compelling.
This role requires leading discovery research, problem framing, co-design workshops, prototyping and usability testing to resolve activation challenges. Success means creating inclusive, localized experiences for APAC audiences that drive measurable business impact while maintaining consistency through SEEK's Braid design system.
Responsibilities
- Plan and scope design initiatives against clear product outcomes, defining hypotheses, success measures and experiment plans aligned to key metrics.
- Shape product direction by connecting customer insights, platform capabilities and industry patterns into cross-platform hirer journeys.
- Lead end-to-end design including discovery research, problem framing, co-design workshops, prototyping and usability testing across SEEK-Sidekicker funnel.
- Communicate product narratives and defend design decisions with compelling storytelling connecting hirer value to business impact and technical feasibility.
- Leverage SEEK's Braid design system to ensure consistency, accessibility and speed while proposing new patterns and components where necessary.
- Design inclusive, localized experiences for APAC audiences accounting for language, cultural norms, labour practices and market nuances.
- Stay across emerging technologies including AI and personalization, applying them pragmatically to improve speed, relevance and confidence in workflows.
- Partner with Product and Analytics to define clear success metrics upfront and evaluate outcomes post-launch using data-informed approaches.
Skills and experience
- 5+ years designing end-to-end digital product experiences with marketplace or SaaS preferred, showing strong transactional UX portfolio.
- Expert facilitation skills in design thinking methods and workshop facilitation to drive alignment, ideation and informed decision making.
- Advanced at planning and conducting discovery research to assess commercial viability and leading evaluative research with actionable recommendations.
- Strong product thinking with ability to define design plans that deliver quality outcomes within timeframes balancing risk and trade-offs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, confident presenting decisions connecting user insights to business goals and technical constraints.
- Advanced Figma proficiency with strong fluency in design systems, component-based delivery, and demonstrated ability applying AI in design workflows.
Other Skills, and Experience
- Familiarity with research and analytics tools such as Hotjar and Dovetail.
- Knowledge of collaboration/delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro).
- Experience designing for APAC localisation and multi brand contexts.
- Comfort operating in a fast paced, iterative environment with shifting priorities and multiple dependencies.
