Senior Platform Support Engineer

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)

Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Senior Platform Support Engineer to join our Technology Operations department within our Computershare Technology Services (CTS) team.  We partner with our global businesses, providing technology services and IT support and designing and developing new products to support our clients, customers, and employees.

A role you will love: 

As a Senior Platform Support Engineer, you will play a key role of ensuring the seamless operation, deployment, and continuous improvement of both on-premises and cloud platforms by collaborating with development, operations, and security teams, the engineer drives automation, standardization, and innovation across our technology stack. 

Other key responsibilities include:

• • Maintain high service availability, support internal projects, and deliver robust, scalable solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs. 

• • Identify and implement process improvements, contribute to strategic initiatives, and advance their technical expertise through ongoing learning and certification opportunities. 

• • Leverage modern cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and ITIL-based service management practices. 

• • Manage appropriate Windows Server Environments, Cloud platforms, SSL Certificates and Citrix ADC Configuration, as well as the delivery of internal projects

• • Contribute to the technology stack by enhancing existing processes, with a focus on automation

• • Contribute to the production of high quality, relevant documentation including process documents, knowledge base articles, cheat sheets, and other technical reference materials

• • Closely collaborate with technology teams to deliver robust applications and services, as well as with operational teams to support them

What will you bring to the role?

• • Experience working as a Platform Support Engineer or similar role. 

• • Strong experience with Windows Server, Cloud Platforms (preferably Azure) and Scripting (ideally PowerShell).

• • Proven experience in Kubernetes, and CI/CD Tooling.

• • Strong experience with the Microsoft .NET Stack, NLB Concepts, preferably Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and terraform.
