The team is part of the Collections Excellence crew, which focuses on building and enhancing a strategic Group platform for Collections. Their responsibilities include:
Developing business and technical requirements for people, process, and technology changes
Leading the ongoing enhancement and definition of the new Collections platform and associated supporting applications and processes
Adherence to SDLC processes in the distribution of Collections related software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as supporting releases into production
Working collaboratively with stakeholders across credit risk, collections, engineering, and architecture
Providing advice and defining rules and configurations for the platform
To be successful in this role, some of the broad roles and responsibilities may include:
Analysis of systems and processes to suggest design, development opportunities and enhancements, and play an active part in their execution
Conducting investigations and resolving incidents, including analysing database queries and assessing performance
Developing test automation frameworks using tools like Playwright, JMeter and Blazemeter
Enhancing and optimising CI/CD pipeline processes
Designing, developing, testing, and deploying PCC modifications and enhancements
A mentoring role in providing design and technical assistance to other members of the team
Designing, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable infrastructure
Monitoring of system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and reliability
Automation of repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency
We’re interested in hearing from people who possess the following:
Development experience with Python, TypeScript or .Net
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Observe, Grafana, Splunk and Pager Duty
Exposure to cloud platforms and architecture, specifically AWS (certified preferred)
Knowledge of Experian PowerCurve Collections v2.4 is an advantage
Prior experience with Australian Collections systems is an advantage
Experience with Automation Frameworks
Understanding of Integration Technologies
