The role


You’ll be working across one of Australia’s leading brands, where the agency team are an extension of the clients’ business; working together building both brand and performance campaigns to deliver against client KPIs.


The role is responsible for driving the day-to-day media planning across paid and non-paid channels ensuring required deliverables are achieved, working closely with the client leads, strategy, trading and performance teams to ensure we’re hitting client outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Leads and develops all media recommendations and media plans in collaboration with the client, trading and performance teams ensuring they deliver on the briefed business outcomes.
  • Supports the Group Director, Client Director, Planning Director and Investment Director by managing the day to day workflow;
  • Drives a collaborative approach with all UM departments including specialist BUs (search, social and addressable) to develop best in class media solutions.
  • Ensures a strong relationship with all media partners to remain across key/upcoming opportunities and trends;
  • Oversees financial process alongside the Investment Manager to ensure monthly invoicing is in-line with the plan.
  • Leads Planning recommendations (in collaboration with Investment Managers) for day-to-day campaign optimisations to ensure delivery against business outcomes.

Who you are


  • Someone who remains up to date with all Australian and global market trends and has an educated point of view of the impact it has on their client’s business and/or approach to the planning craft.
  • You have extensive experience in planning across all channels with a particular focus on traditional channels.
  • Works with the Planning Director to create a positive and motivating work environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with the Client team to ensure recommendations are in-line with client expectations and deliver on briefed outcomes.
  • Has a clear demonstration of problem solving skills and comes solutions ready.
  • Competent skills in creating best practice and market leading implementation planning responses, working in conjunction with the Planning Director. Ensuring that our clients are delivered future focused recommendations that take into consideration projected market trends.
