Your New Role
As a Senior Operations Specialist, you will support the Manager, Member Accounts within Member Operations to ensure the consistent delivery of AustralianSuper’s products and services for members and employers. You will provide expert operational guidance, manage complex queries, oversee service providers and contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives across the Fund.
 

Key duties include but are not limited to;

  • Oversee administrators to ensure services are delivered in line with contractual obligations and manage exceptions
  • Conduct and support Operational Due Diligence across services under team oversight
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Resolve operational issues promptly, escalating where required
  • Provide expert guidance and decision-making on delivery of products and services
  • Review business rules, communications and standard letters to ensure alignment with legislation and agreed processes
  • Act as a subject matter expert across legislative change and business-wide projects
  • Manage operational queries, incidents, reporting, and contribute to quality and audit processes

What You’ll Need

  • Significant experience in superannuation administration and operations (typically 5+ years)
  • Strong understanding of the superannuation industry and associated regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents and policies
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams while also working autonomously
  • Experience managing vendors or service providers and overseeing operational performance
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Superannuation or a related discipline (desirable)
  • Exposure to business analysis or operational process improvement (desirable)
     

Please note role is a 12 month fixed term contract
