Working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, you’ll play a critical role in uplifting procurement maturity, improving systems and processes, and enabling the business through effective procure-to-pay (P2P) delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the transformation and continuous improvement of procurement operations, including source-to-pay (S2P), contract management, and service delivery

  • Drive optimisation of procurement systems and tools (Oracle ERP, Coupa), enhancing automation, compliance, and user experience

  • Own end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring all organisational spend is governed, compliant, and efficient

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to influence, educate, and embed best-practice procurement processes

  • Manage and uplift performance of delivery partners and offshore teams, fostering a high-performing, service-oriented culture

  • Deliver reporting, insights, and analytics to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making

  • Champion procurement policy, risk management, and compliance standards across the organisation

  • Lead and contribute to procurement transformation initiatives, building capability and driving operational excellence

What You Bring

  • 6–8+ years’ experience in procurement, with strong expertise in source-to-pay and procurement operations

  • Proven experience leading teams (including offshore delivery models) and managing service providers

  • Strong background in procurement transformation and process improvement

  • Hands-on experience with ERP and eProcurement systems (Oracle, SAP, Coupa)

  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, purchasing, and contract management

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment

  • High level of confidence, commercial acumen, and communication skills

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
