Your New Role 

Reporting to the Principal, Business Enablement, the Senior Manager, Knowledge & Content Management will be responsible to ensure our frontline teams have access to trusted, accurate and intuitive knowledge, content and guidance that enables consistent member outcomes, reduces operational risk and improves efficiency at scale.

The role is responsible for positioning knowledge and content as strategic business assets that improve frontline performance, accelerate speed to competency, support operational excellence and enable consistent member outcomes across the Member Domain. 


Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead organisational capability uplift in knowledge management, content governance and knowledge-centred service practices across the Member Domain.

  • Build leadership capability and accountability amongst Content Owners, ensuring ownership responsibilities are clearly understood and effectively executed.

  • Ensure the Knowledge & Content Management function operates within a robust governance framework that supports compliance, risk management and control effectiveness.

  • Own and oversee the operating model for content and knowledge governance.

  • Establish and maintain frameworks for content ownership, review cycles and approval workflows.

  • Act as the business Product Owner for Lighthouse, ensuring the platform delivers measurable value to frontline teams and supports strategic priorities across the Member Domain.

  • Define and maintain the Lighthouse product vision, roadmap and investment priorities.

  • Own the strategic evolution of Lighthouse as the single source of truth for frontline knowledge and content management.

  • Shape and execute the Knowledge & Content Management strategy to support organisational priorities, frontline excellence and business performance outcomes.

  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic plans aligned to Fund Strategy and Member Domain priorities.

  • Ensure content and knowledge solutions are integrated with process design, capability frameworks and operational workflows.

  • Drive continuous improvement through user analytics, search behaviour, content performance and feedback insights.

  • Provide leadership and accountability for the complete lifecycle of knowledge and content assets, from strategy and design through to implementation, governance and continuous improvement.

 

What You’ll Need  

  • Experience leading knowledge management, content management, operational excellence, business enablement or related functions.
  • Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise knowledge management and content management practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing controls, audits, risk remediation and governance frameworks.
  • Experience implementing compliant and sustainable operating models.
  • An ability to develop and execute business strategies that improve operational performance and member outcomes.
  • Track record delivering transformation initiatives that improve member, frontline and business outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience partnering across operational, technology, risk and leadership teams.
  • Experience using analytics, reporting and customer insights to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Hold an accreditation in Risk Management from a recognised body like Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) or Governance Institute of Australia (GIA), or be willing to obtain one after joining AustralianSuper. 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and translate external regulatory requirements to shape business outcomes.
