We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Manager Financial Control and Accounting Services. This role will report to the Executive Manager Financial Control and Accounting Services.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Manager Financial Control and Accounting Services, you will lead the Fixed Asset Accounting function, providing leadership, governance and oversight across a significant asset portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of fixed asset accounting and financial controls, while fostering a high-performing and inclusive team focused on delivering excellent outcomes.
You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across asset accounting processes, partnering with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Commercial Finance and broader Finance teams to strengthen governance, enhance data quality and deliver sustainable solutions. A bit about you
You are a people-focused leader with extensive experience in financial control, accounting or finance transformation within a large and complex organisation. Professionally qualified as a CA or CPA, you bring strong technical expertise, commercial acumen and a proven ability to lead teams through change while delivering high-quality outcomes.
You are known for building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders across diverse functions, often without direct authority. With a strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and governance, you can confidently engage with finance professionals, project teams and engineers to solve complex problems and drive better business outcomes. You are naturally curious, continuous improvement focused and motivated by creating long-term solutions that strengthen processes, controls and stakeholder experience.
