The Role

We’re seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Senior Manager – Entertainment Operations to lead theatre and entertainment operations across Crown Melbourne. Reporting into senior leadership across Crown Theatres and Bars, Lounges & Nightlife, you’ll drive operational excellence, stakeholder alignment and exceptional guest experiences across our entertainment venues.

You’re a strategic leader who thrives in high-energy, high-profile environments. You seamlessly balance commercial outcomes with creative vision, bringing large-scale entertainment experiences to life with precision, consistency and impact.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end theatre operations across front and back of house, ensuring seamless delivery of shows and events

  • Drive operational performance, stakeholder satisfaction and continuous improvement across entertainment venues

  • Partner closely with senior leaders to deliver strategic initiatives, reporting and operational insights

  • Oversee planning, resource coordination and execution of entertainment projects, ensuring delivery on time and within scope

  • Champion service innovation, enhancing guest experiences and maintaining a competitive market position

  • Lead, mentor and inspire leaders to build a high-performing and engaged team culture

About You

You’re an experienced and influential leader with a strong operational and commercial mindset. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, with the ability to deliver exceptional outcomes in a complex entertainment environment.

You will also bring:

  • Proven senior leadership experience in entertainment, theatre or large-scale venue operations

  • Strong financial, planning and performance management capability

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills

  • Experience leading diverse teams and driving a high-performance culture

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
