We are looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering to join our Americas Field Sales team as a people leader. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the technical strategy for the Canadian market, ensuring our solutions are positioned as essential to our customers' long-term business objectives. While this is a remote position based in one of our major Canadian hubs, you will engage directly with the field, requiring occasional travel to customer sites and internal events.
What You’ll DoTeam Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and build a world-class team of Sales Engineering professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with sales leadership and clients to develop and execute winning segment and account-level strategies, owning the technical sales motion from start to finish.
Operational Excellence: Refine and scale core sales engineering processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high performance across the region.
Executive Sponsorship: Act as a key technical leader and executive sponsor for strategic customers and partners, representing the company at industry events, forums, and executive briefings.
Technical Vision: Drive the technical strategy that aligns our innovative solutions with the complex business needs of our enterprise clients.

Leadership Experience: 7+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles with also at least 2 years of experience directly leading teams.
Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in selling network security technologies, including SSL/web technologies, proxies, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPNs, DLP, and end-user monitoring.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Industry Credentials: Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSA, CISSP, or CCSP.
Hands-on Impact: A leadership style that balances strategy with the ability to engage directly with strategic accounts to secure technical wins.
Sales Acumen: A deep understanding of complex, multi-year sales cycles and expertise in value-based storytelling.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
