Let’s talk about this role
As the Senior Manager, Actuarial – International Health Insurance (iihi), you will execute the actuarial vision for iihi. The role provides key inputs and manages the iihi gross profit budget/forecast process, and the actuarial stream of the annual pricing and product change - providing actuarial insights, data and commentary on drivers of change to influence the business towards a better outcome.
Partnering with the business, you will support the successful delivery of ongoing actuarial requirements for new products, projects and initiatives and realise the nib strategy.
The position provides actuarial support and an informed, data-driven, risk-aware voice within the ever-changing business environment to guide the business to execute for success.
At the Senior Manager level, the role is also a leader in the actuarial vision for iihi – providing a material level of support to the Head of Actuarial and Analytics in determining key tasks and also using insights to shape the strategy for iihi in collaboration with the business.
Let’s talk about you
The successful candidate will have a Fellowship qualification of the IA Aust or equivalent. Experience working within the Private Health Insurance industry is essential to the success of this role.
With a passion for enabling timely decision making, based on data driven insights, your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills will see you set up to succeed in this senior leadership position.
