 About The Role

This is a role for the natural consultant - the problem solver, the constantly curious and the lifelong learner. In this exciting and hands-on role, you’ll be working alongside highly passionate and skilled people and playing a key role in communicating and engaging with a variety of clients, helping them navigate the right approach for their business problems, as well as developing code and implementing custom models to support their Data and AI journey. 

About You

Technical AI/ML skills

  • You're passionate about solving real-world problems in new and effective ways using data, AI and ML
  • You have experience in Software Engineering, with commercial experience in deploying code in cloud platforms  
  • You have 5+ years of commercial experience in Machine Learning, with proficiency in at least two specific areas such as natural language processing, computer vision, recommendation systems, structured data prediction etc
    • You are able to quickly identify whether AI or ML is an appropriate technology for a client problem, and can choose the right AI / ML approach
    • You are adept at developing custom models, as well as preparing the training and validation data, and selecting the appropriate algorithms
    • You have experience with MLOps and have deployed models into production, in the cloud
    • You have commercial experience with some of the following ML frameworks: Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch or other similar frameworks
    • Python is a must
    • You are competent working within different technology landscapes and ML related cloud services including AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex AI and/or Azure ML
    • You can define a Proof of Concept/Value, and chart (and estimate) a path to production including identifying how it can integrate into the wider solution.
  • You will also have recent experience with GenAI / LLMs in a commercial context
    • You have worked with GenAI and agentic frameworks such as Bedrock, Langchain, langGraph, CrewAI
  • Extra bonus points if you have some data engineering experience and a willingness to spend time working with data. 
    • Familiarity with big-data & tools and data modelling
    • Familiarity with data services on the cloud, or data platforms such as databricks or snowflake
    • Experience with data analytics and dashboarding

  • You aspire to contribute to business outcomes that provide real value to clients, regardless whether it’s navigating the complexity of a large enterprise or influencing in a fast-paced start-up
  • You have experience leading end to end projects, and can independently manage business stakeholders & showcase progress
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have solid experience in Agile ways-of-working and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, can shape and track a backlog pertaining to your related tasks. 
  • You will have experience in providing technical pre-sales support, understanding client needs and requirements, and helping to create and shape recommendations
  • You have a passion for learning and sharing thought leadership with your peers and network
