The Role
The Senior Fund Analyst, Corporate Finance is responsible for leading the end-to-end management, governance, and reporting of fund reimbursements across IFM-managed funds.
The role exercises sound judgement in assessing, reporting and processing reimbursements to funds, ensuring outcomes are accurate, well-governed, and aligned with fund documents, management agreements, reimbursement policies, and applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
The role partners closely with Fund Finance, Corporate Accounting, Operations, Legal, and Risk to resolve complex reimbursement matters, strengthen governance outcomes, and provide trusted advice on fund charging and reimbursement practices.
Your Background and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in fund accounting, fund finance, management accounting, or a related role within funds management or financial services.
Tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- Must have post-graduate qualifications in CA, CPA or related field.
Deep understanding of funds management operating models, including cost structures and fund expense frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex fund reimbursement, expense allocation, or cost recovery frameworks.
- Proven ability to assess and resolve judgemental or non-routine accounting and reimbursement matters.
