About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Accounting Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in technical accounting leadership, financial reporting, and audit management. As a trusted advisor, you will ensure Group Accounting Policies are aligned with relevant standards, provide guidance on complex transactions, and deliver excellence across our financial close and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and update Group Accounting Policies, ensuring compliance with current standards and best practice.
  • Lead the assessment and documentation of complex transactions, including revenue recognition for multi-element professional services contracts, WIP/contract assets, lease management, business combinations, consolidations, and impairment.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical position papers and accounting memos, articulating key judgments, assumptions, and sensitivity analysis for management and auditors.
  • Monitor new and amended accounting standards, conduct impact assessments, and lead adoption projects, including process/system changes and delivery of training.
  • Collaborate with Financial Accounting Managers to own the year-end close for the general ledger and statutory reporting entities, ensuring accurate P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and equity reporting.
  • Review monthly journal entries and reconciliations, enforcing robust cut-off and completeness controls.
  • Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements and notes, including sustainability reporting requirements.

About You

  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in technical accounting and financial reporting, ideally in a complex group environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply accounting standards, manage multiple priorities, and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration.
