What this opportunity involves: 

 

JLL is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Property Asset Management (PAM) team, working with the Lendlease Industrial portfolio based in Melbourne. This pivotal role requires a finance professional who can operate with a high degree of independence while delivering exceptional financial reporting and support to property owners.

 

 

An overview of the role:  

 

·       Direct and manage the delivery of comprehensive financial and management reports to property owners

·       Coordinate the preparation of quarterly Asset Plans, monthly reporting, and annual budgets and forecasts

·       Develop effective accounting controls and procedures while ensuring tax and audit compliance

·       Review and authorise accounts payable, ensuring accurate coding and proper financial controls

·       Prepare detailed monthly financial reports including general ledger reviews, GST reporting, and revenue recognition

·       Lead the quarterly Asset Planning process, including organising pre-forecast meetings and delivering Asset Plan Packs

·       Manage annual property budgets, outgoings estimates, and reconciliations

·       Support valuation processes and special projects as required

 

 

 

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for: 

 

·       Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA highly desirable)

·       Minimum 5 years' experience in financial reporting within property management or real estate

·       Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

·       Experience with MRI/MRI SP accounting systems (beneficial)

·       Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels

·       Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and operate independently

·       A positive approach to meeting client needs while managing tenant expectations
