Senior Commercial Finance Manager

This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you’ll be the go-to partner for commercial performance — working across departments to turn data into direction. You’ll help shape and lead the financial reporting framework, drive strategic planning and forecasting, and play a pivotal role in aligning business performance with measurable objectives and outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the implementation and enhancement of a consistent reporting framework across the business

• Partner closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders to understand needs, influence decision-making, and drive transformational improvements

• Deliver clear, actionable reporting and analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast, highlighting key drivers and areas for optimisation

• Support planning and forecasting cycles, including financial modelling and scenario analysis

• Drive establishment and tracking of company-wide OKRs and performance metrics

• Prepare monthly operational and financial reports with insights that drive strategy

• Conduct deep-dive analysis on financial and operational data to extract insights

• Collaborate with teams across Technology, People & Talent, Sales, Marketing and Operations

• Continuously identify and implement process improvements and reporting efficiencies

• Extensive experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

• CA or CFA qualification preferred

• Strong 3-way modelling and advanced Excel/financial analysis skills

• A proven track record in budget management, forecasting, and performance analysis

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders

• A results-driven, strategic thinker who can work with ambiguity and solve complex problems

• Highly collaborative, accountable, and detail-oriented
