Your New Role

We’re seeking a 12-month contract for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Investments function. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, delivering financial insight, strategic guidance, and commercial outcomes that directly support the Fund’s investment strategy.

Key duties include but are not limited to;

  • Act as the primary finance contact for the Investments business, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Partner with investment teams to develop and execute financial strategies aligned to fund objectives.

  • Deliver financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to optimise investment outcomes.

  • Provide monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and support longer-term financial forecasting.

  • Provide commercial guidance on business cases, projects, and cost management initiatives.

  • Monitor financial performance against plans and provide advice on achieving targets.

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across finance processes.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with CA/CPA (or equivalent).

  • Proven experience in financial services (superannuation experience advantageous).

  • Strong financial markets knowledge and commercial acumen.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify insights.

  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and communicating financial concepts clearly.

  • Strong technical accounting capability and forecasting/budgeting experience.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and drive outcomes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
