Senior Engineer - BeyondTrust

At Versent, we're helping customers strengthen and modernise their identity and security capabilities. We're looking for a Senior Engineer with deep expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM) to lead the enhancement, configuration and ongoing evolution of enterprise-scale CyberArk and BeyondTrust environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work closely with customers to deliver secure, scalable access solutions across both human and non-human identities, helping organisations prepare for the next generation of automation and AI-driven access management.
What You'll Do

• Design, build and enhance Privileged Access Management platforms using CyberArk and BeyondTrust.

• Configure and optimise existing PAM environments to meet evolving business and security requirements.

• Develop governance frameworks and best practices for privileged access across users, service accounts and machine identities.

• Support organisations in securing both human and non-human identities, including emerging AI agent and automation use cases.

• Drive customer outcomes through workshops, technical leadership and proactive problem solving.

• Own delivery from requirements through configuration, testing, implementation and handover.

• Collaborate with security, infrastructure and identity teams to deliver robust PAM solutions.

• Identify opportunities for platform improvement, automation and operational maturity.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with CyberArk Privileged Access Management.

• Experience with BeyondTrust Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access or broader BeyondTrust platform capabilities.

• Knowledge of modern Identity and Access Management concepts and integrations.

• Proven experience configuring, building and enhancing PAM platforms, not just supporting them.

• Strong understanding of privileged account onboarding. I have more to say bit do not want to overshare our IP to competitors.

• Experience working directly with customers and influencing technical outcomes.

• Ability to lead conversations, challenge assumptions and drive initiatives forward.

• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
