As a Senior Employee Relations Advisor within the Team Services team, you will act as a trusted partner and escalation point for Endeavour Group leaders navigating complex workplace matters.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end grievance investigations and translate employment legislation and internal policies into robust, commercially pragmatic recommendations.

Beyond delivering expert, day-to-day case management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our wider People strategy by championing continuous improvement projects and coaching a dedicated team of ER Advisors to elevate our collective capability.

Sound good? Read on.
Here's a snapshot of the responsibilities:

  • Deliver strong, supportive leadership across ER team members within the Team Services team, providing coaching and development support to junior ER advisors.
  • Represent the business in claims across external jurisdictions (such as the Fair Work Commission and Human Rights Commissions) and in interactions with external employee representative bodies like the SDA.
  • Support and guide the business with industrial disputes and workplace issues outside of standard bargaining processes.
  • Develop and deliver performance management training programs to emerging leaders across the business.
  • Interpret and deliver data insights, trends, and strategic opportunities to Senior Operations stakeholders.
  • Support business-wide projects and strategic initiatives, including bargaining, compliance, and employment governance.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex HR/ER matters and a proven track record of leading a high-performing team of professionals.
  • You possess sound knowledge and deep understanding of relevant ER legislation across different jurisdictions and its practical application within company policy.
  • Demonstrate a clear capacity to provide commercial, risk-managed, yet fast and simple HR/ER solutions to Line Managers and business units.
  • You hold excellent negotiation and influencing skills to engage collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, ER, Employment Law, or a relevant field (and/or equivalent significant practical experience).
  • Previous experience leading large teams in service delivery environments is highly regarded.

The benefits are good too!

  • An exclusive discount card for our ALH Hotels pubs & accommodation, BWS, Dan Murphy’s and other Endeavour Group brands. Through our partnership with Woolworths, you'll also enjoy discounts at Woolies supermarkets and BIG W
  • As a valued member of the team, your health and wellbeing is our top priority. You will have access to a range of free services to help you live well and support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
