What You'll Do:
As the successful applicant you will be someone keen to implement best practices in CICD and DevOps into the real-world execution and delivery of Telstra’s cutting edge containerised 5G Core. You will be driven to continually grow your understanding of 5G Core functions and the product enabling services they support. You will deliver, operate, and improve network solutions. Working alongside the Network DevOps Leads, you will contribute to and implement reusable patterns and frameworks that will accelerate our delivery of value to the wider business and to customers and become a leader yourself at Australia’s leading telecommunications provider.
About You:
We're looking for someone to help us successfully deliver on our existing commitments and use our track record to bag more projects. Future possible projects include an network API digitisation.
You should be proficient with tools like Rust (Axum & Actix-Web), Python
Experience in DevOps tooling and ways of working
Committing and maintaining code in Git
Peer reviewing and providing feedback/improvements for multi team repositories
Experience using and implementing CICD (continuous integration, delivery, and deployment)
Experience in Ansible and other automation tools/methodologies
Experience with cloud and IP Networking
If you're good with any (or all of!) System Design, Algorithms & Data Structure, Linux, REST APIs, micro-service architecture, producer-consumer model, etc., then you're a valuable asset to us. It's OK if you don't know most of these, but you must have the zeal to continuously learn and make meaningful contributions. You will be given ample support and time to learn.
