This 6-month opportunity with Shell Energy is perfect for an experienced Business Analyst who thrives on problem-solving, process improvement and delivering meaningful change. Join a high-performing team in a business transforming the way Australians experience energy.

You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting Credit, Collections and Hardship projects helping to identify, analyse and deliver system and process enhancements that improve customer outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.

With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into actionable solutions.

  • Analyse and document business processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation.

  • Partner with Credit, Collections and Hardship teams to drive improvement initiatives and support ongoing transformation.

  • Ensure all process and project changes meet Shell Energy’s regulatory, compliance and governance standards.

  • Support testing, implementation and change management activities to ensure readiness and smooth adoption.

  • Prepare clear documentation including process maps, user stories and reports to track project outcomes.

Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within credit, collections, or financial services environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience using Jira and supporting UAT/test case development.

  • Sound understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines, hardship and vulnerability principles).

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Energy or utilities experience highly regarded.
