About the role:We're looking for a Senior Content Specialist who's great at one thing above all else: telling producers' stories in a way that makes other producers want Halter, and knowing which stories are working.
You'll own the words, stories and video that bring Halter to life in Australia, from case studies and blogs to email, social and product launch content. You'll spend real time on farm with the people who use Halter every day, and turn what you hear into content that builds trust, drives leads and helps existing customers get more from Halter.
Your job is the content itself: the story, the voice, the craft and the read on whether it's landing.
Who we're looking for:An experienced storyteller. You've got 5+ years in content writing and marketing, and a portfolio that shows you can turn complex ideas into stories people want to read and watch. Video experience is a plus.
Deeply customer-led. You're energised by time on farm with beef and dairy producers. You ask good questions, listen properly and earn trust, then turn what you learn into commercial decisions about messaging, proof points and channels, not just generic content ideas.
Data-curious and commercially minded. You care whether your content works, not just whether it's published. You know content's job is to drive leads and keep customers, and you use tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot and Webflow to make better calls.
Smart with AI. You use AI tools to speed up research, drafting and production, and you know where they help and where a human touch matters more.
Organised and self-directed. You can juggle case studies, launches, campaigns and day-to-day content without things slipping, and you know when to escalate and when to just decide.
A great teammate. You thrive in a small, collaborative team, give and take feedback well, and help lift the work of the people around you.
Familiarity with agriculture - whether that's growing up on farm, working in the industry or marketing to producers.
Working in a fast-growing tech or startup business.
Owning content strategy in Australia. You'll build and own the content strategy, deciding which audiences, stories and formats we focus on and how content supports Halter Australia's revenue priorities. You'll also be the day-to-day guardian of brand and tone of voice for Halter messaging here. Working with Global Brand, you'll set a standard of excellence so everything we put out represents Halter at its best, while adapting to regional nuances so it sounds written for producers here, not translated for them.
Bringing campaigns to life. You'll work closely with our Senior Campaigns Specialist, who owns the campaign strategy and brief. You'll own the craft: the messaging, copy, stories and video that deliver each campaign across channels. When you spot a better angle, or a story that deserves its own campaign, you'll bring it to the table.
Build a strong pipeline of producer stories. You're deeply customer-led and love time on farm, interviewing producers to find what Halter really changes for them. You'll turn each story into content that answers the objections producers actually raise, like price, proof and the risk of switching, whether that's an editorial, a performance ad, social content or a brand asset. You own the storylines, messaging and copy, working with our creative team or freelancers on filming, editing and design.
Creating content across every channel. You'll write the email that takes potential customers from first interest to sale and keeps existing customers up to date, the social content that shows what's actually happening on farm, and the product launch content that makes clear what's changed and why it matters. Your content will help define the category Halter is building, which goes well beyond virtual fencing.
Building our social strategy. You'll build up Halter Australia's social strategy with in alignment with Global Brand, including what we post, how often and how it connects to campaigns, and you'll build a dedicated Australian presence. You'll keep it consistently active and responsive to the producers who engage with it.
Data-led about what resonates. You'll track how content performs, from engagement and search traffic to email response and leads influenced, and use it to decide what resonates with producers and what we should do more or less of. You'll know which stories are working, why, and what that means for what we make next.
The Integrated Marketing Lead. They set the integrated marketing strategy and own the full picture for Australia. You own the content and the organic growth that help deliver it.
The regional marketing team. That's the Events team and the Integrated Marketing team, including the Senior Campaigns Specialist. Campaigns owns the strategy, plan and brief, and you own the words, stories and video that deliver it.
Producers. You'll spend time on farm and on the phone with the people who use Halter, building the relationships that give us stories worth telling.
Sales teams. They know what producers are asking, where they get stuck and what's coming next. You'll stay close to them so your content answers the questions that matter.
The global marketing teams. That's Global Brand and Performance Marketing. You'll align with them on brand, messaging and product launches, and adapt it so it lands with Australian producers. Performance Marketing owns search and paid digital, so you'll work with them to find the search opportunities in Australia and write the content that
