Job Description

About the Project

As we expand into major energy infrastructure programs across regional Victoria, we are seeking experienced professionals with strong high-voltage power and transmission expertise to join our growing team. Acciona is positioning itself to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects from early design through to full construction, encompassing high-voltage transmission works, power network upgrades, and complex substation design, build and commissioning activities. These projects involve the integration of advanced HV systems across multiple regional sites and play a critical role in strengthening Victoria’s future energy network. This is an opportunity to contribute to landmark programs at scale and be part of a team driving the delivery of essential power infrastructure.

About the Opportunity

As Senior Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial function for a flagship infrastructure project. Reporting to the Project Director, you will manage contract administration, risk, and financial performance while partnering with delivery teams and key stakeholders. This is a leadership role where you will influence strategy, drive compliance, and optimise value for ACCIONA and our clients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead commercial strategy and governance
  • Manage contract administration and claims
  • Drive cost control and financial reporting
  • Mitigate risk and ensure compliance
  • Negotiate with clients and subcontractors
  • Support project delivery teams with commercial advice
  • Leadership and development of the commercial team

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Commerce
  • Proven experience in major infrastructure projects
  • Experience in different commercial models
  • Strong contract and claims management skills
  • Leadership experience in commercial teams
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement
