- Drive the commercial management and performance of Ground Service Providers across a complex network

Jetstar is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to support the management of Ground Service Provider (GSP) contracts across the network. This role plays a key part in negotiating new GSP contracts, coordinating contractual amendments, and managing contract performance while providing strong commercial and analytical support for strategic initiatives. You’ll ensure clarity and consistency in commercial engagements and contribute to well-informed, timely negotiations with external partners.
In this role you will:
- Own and manage contract changes and addendums (e.g. aircraft type changes, rate adjustments, international flying), delivered on time and in line with Qantas Group commercial interests
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Airport Services, Operations, Procurement, Legal and GSP Commercial Managers to progress contractual updates
- Provide robust analytical support for negotiations, including cost modelling, benchmarking and labour rate reviews
- Deliver clear, timely recommendations to support contract amendments, renegotiations and strategic projects
- Lead commercial recovery activities related to aircraft damage and service failures, ensuring effective cost recoupment from Ground Service Providers
You’ll have:
- 3–5 years’ experience in commercial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance or strategy roles.
- Proven experience in contract management and commercial negotiations with external partners, comfortable in interpreting commercial contract terms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability, including cost modelling and scenario analysis, with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate analysis into clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Confidence to operate independently, take ownership, and drive outcomes
