We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Senior Cloud and Network Engineer to join our team at Hub24. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a technical leader passionate about delivering high-quality technology solutions.
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, administrators, developers, analysts, and project managers within a hybrid project management framework. If you have expertise in infrastructure as code, software-defined networking, and are driven to enhance solution delivery, we’d love to hear from you. This is a 17-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Plan the delivery of solutions including scheduling, change management, and co-ordinate with other teams and stakeholders
- Solution design in accordance with relevant standards, architecture, and best practices, including producing and maintaining design and as-built documentation
- Build and configure solutions, ensuring they comply with security and regulatory requirements
- Provide consultation and level 3 support if an escalation occurs from the operations team
- Contribute to the technology roadmap and provide subject matter expertise within the team
- Contribute to process improvement and provide technical direction to engineers and administrators.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or scripting.
- Proven experience in designing network solutions.
- Expertise in cloud networking (AWS, GCP, NSX).
- Experience managing interconnectivity between public, private cloud, and office infrastructure.
- Strong skills in routing and switching protocols.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco networking (including Nexus switching) is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in an engineering role.
- Demonstrated ability in planning, designing, and implementing network solutions.
- Graduate or post-graduate qualification in information technology or a related field.
- Engineering-level certification in networking.
