The Senior Automation QA Engineer will develop test automation, perform functional testing on backend services, and enhance product quality through collaboration and analysis.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will join our Payments team, responsible for managing payment processing systems that integrate multiple microservices and connect with various external providers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation using Node.js and Jest
- Conduct code reviews and continuously improve the test automation framework
- Review and analyze technical requirements to ensure clarity and testability
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to enhance product quality
- Perform functional testing of backend services, identifying automation opportunities
- Identify, report, and track issues with clear documentation
- Participate in manual and automated verification and regression testing
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Backend QA Engineer
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of functional testing, including test design methods and different test types
- Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to share ideas with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Nice to have
- Experience working with payment providers or payment processing systems
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
