The Executive is responsible for coordinating and executing events, managing client relationships, developing proposals, and ensuring successful event delivery.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Executive, Groups & Events under the guidance and supervision of the Manager, MICE & Groups is responsible for coordinating every aspect of an event to ensure its delivery as contracted.
He/she is expected to do event detailing with the organizer of the event to include requirements for guestrooms, menu choices, set up a plan, and audio-visual equipment.
He/she coordinates client requirements with the operations departments of the hotels to ensure its successful implementation and delivery.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solicits corporate live-out and live-in business from accounts within the assigned territory through sales calls, telemarketing, emails, and entertainment.
- Liaises with Casino marketing and Entertainment team to ensure detailed information are provided to operate smooth event.
- Manages accounts through relationship building with all possible contacts within the company to include decision-makers and influence peddlers.
- Contributes to the achievement of departmental goals within the agreed budget through his/her accounts.
- Remains informed of all movements within the account on business opportunities for events business for City of Dreams Mediterranean and that of competition.
- Formulates strategies for accounts handled to develop these as active producers.
- Prepares and submits sales deliverables such as weekly itinerary, weekly activity report, monthly telemarketing and monthly production report.
- Develops and maintains potential clients’ database and ensures proper documentation of account activities.
- Drafts and sends out event proposals, reverts to client inquiries within 24 hours.
- Prepares and actively participates in book reviews and account reviews.
- Liaises with relevant departments such as F&B and Reservations in order to achieve smooth operation.
- Keeps abreast on information about the competitors, their pricing, sales activities and product offers.
- Prepares and conducts site inspection plan for prospective clients of the resort.
- Performs other tasks/duties as required by the Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Minimum of one (2) years Sales & Events management experience in a five-star hotel.
- Excellent knowledge of key MICE segments in the region with experience developing specific strategies
- Existing relationship with major corporate accounts and MICE agents
- Proven track record developing new corporate relationship and converting these relationships to sales
Education
- Degree from a major, accredited institution in the fields of hospitality, marketing, business administration or relevant
Skills / Competencies
- Mature presentation style and be comfortable interacting at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Excellent command of English, French or German and other languages will be considered as an advantage.
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint.
- Strong project management skills.
