Due to a strong and growing pipeline of consultancy and advanced integration work, Beca is seeking an Automation, Telemetry & SCADA Engineer / Consultant to join our team in Newcastle, NSW.

We will provide you with a wide range of technical and leadership challenges that will continue to grow your skills and knowledge.
About you
You’re an enthusiastic, capable engineer who enjoys learning and wants to grow. You’ll be embarking on your career and have experience in Automation, Telemetry, SCADA, or Industrial Communications. This experience will be in PLC and SCADA development experience; Telemetry, radio, and communications systems and server and networking fundamentals.
Alongside an ability to travel to meet project needs you will have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as project planning, documentation and reporting experience
Experience or knowledge in the following is highly regarded:
Geo SCADA, Citect SCADA and/or other SCADA platforms
Radio, modem, Ethernet and IP networking
IEC-based PLC and telemetry programming
Industry protocols and OT networking
Cyber security fundamentals
Smart tools and systems database development
Electrical background or licence (advantageous, not required)
