The Team:
Our Strategic and Performance Improvement team is focused on strategy, performance improvement, and operational restructuring to optimise clients’ financial performance and sustainability. We deliver enhanced commercial outcomes, optimise cost structures and ensure sustainable value creation through strategic insight and rigorous financial analysis. Leveraging deep industry insight, we work with senior executives to build confidence in decisions that strengthen their financial performance and sustainability.
Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:
Our Strategic Performance Improvement team is growing and, we are seeking an experienced consulting professionals at the Senior Associate / Manager level, bringing strategy and performance improvement expertise. We are looking for individuals with expertise in strategy and performance improvement, who brings strong strategic, commercial and financial acumen. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across multiple sectors, thrive in collaborative, high performing teams and is passionate about delivering lasting value for clients while contributing to the continued growth of our business.
As a Senior Associate / Manager, you will lead teams and collaborate with clients across a range of industries to develop and deliver impactful engagements from strategic operating model reviews through to delivery of operational and financial performance improvement solutions, including:
Performance Optimisation & Value Creation: Identify and quantify opportunities to improve revenue, reduce costs, increase productivity and unlock enterprise value. Translate findings into robust business cases and investment decisions.
Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior executive leaders to define an organisation’s strategic vision and direction and develop the strategic plan to achieve it.
Target Operating Model Design: Design future-state operating models that align strategy with organisational structure, governance, processes, capabilities, technology and service delivery.
Implementation & Benefits Realisation: Develop practical implementation roadmaps and establish governance and monitor mechanisms to track financial and operational benefits.
Business Development: Work with Scyne to grow the practice by contributing to business development, proposals and practice initiatives.
You bring a combination of:
Experience within a Tier 1, mid-tier or boutique consulting practice in organisational strategy, financial advisory, or transformation roles. Experience in strategy, target operating model design and financial performance improvement projects is highly regarded.
Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage senior client relationships.
Strong financial analysis and business case modelling skills, including experience assessing revenue, cost and productivity opportunities.
Experience assessing and redesigning operating models, covering organisation structure, processes, governance, and service delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate insights into compelling executive narratives that influence critical decisions.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and change-driven environments.
Experience developing proposals and business development initiatives, identifying new engagement opportunities, nurturing client relationships and thought leadership pieces.
Ability to coach and develop more junior staff.
