About the Role

The Senior Application Administrator is responsible for the operational ownership, governance, optimisation, and lifecycle management of BDO’s commercial and business critical applications.
 

The role combines deep application administration expertise with strong governance, integration knowledge, risk management, and stakeholder engagement capability.
The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring applications are stable, secure, cost effective, well integrated, and aligned to business priorities and regulatory expectations. This will include execution of application operations, vendor engagement, change management, and continuous improvement activities.

As a member of the Applications team, the Senior Application Administrator will:

  • Own the administration and operational roadmap for a portfolio of commercial applications, ensuring alignment with service line needs and organisational standards

  • Balance application enhancement with governance, security, and operational stability across business-critical platforms

  • Coordinate cross-functional engagement across technology, vendors, and service line stakeholders to deliver reliable application outcomes

  • Execute the introduction, configuration, enhancement, and retirement of applications and integrations to ensure consistent, secure, and effective use at enterprise scale.
     

This is a permanent part time opportunity working 18.5 hours per week (flexible days/times available).

About You
 

This role requires a strong blend of application administration expertise, platform governance capability, and stakeholder engagement.
 

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring commercial applications remain stable, compliant, and fit-for-purpose in a complex professional services environment.
 

We are seeking an individual with relevant experience administering enterprise or SaaS applications in a complex environment. Prior responsibility for commercial or line-of business application portfolios is required. 
Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and vendors to deliver stable, compliant application services is essential.
