Your New Role
AustralianSuper’s Private Credit portfolio is a global portfolio of over A$7 billion across real asset debt and corporate middle market loans, with significant growth expected. The portfolio is split between external managers in Australia, Europe and the US as well as an internal capability. The internal global team focuses on opportunities across real estate and infrastructure in Europe and the US leveraging our offices in London and New York.
The Senior Portfolio Analyst supports the effective management, monitoring and growth of AustralianSuper’s global Private Credit portfolio. The role is responsible for maintaining robust portfolio and financial models, producing high-quality performance reporting and insights, and supporting investment oversight, manager monitoring strategic research and new investment assessment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining & enhancing portfolio and financial models that support regular reporting and decision-making;
- Preparing timely, accurate and insightful performance reporting for senior stakeholders;
- Supporting oversight of managed and direct investments, including monitoring, analysis and valuation support;
- Contributing to strategic projects, research and the assessment of new investment opportunities.
What You’ll Need
- Experience within an institutional investment manager, investment bank, credit fund or related investment environment;
- Experience supporting investment analysis, portfolio monitoring, performance reporting, valuations or transaction execution;
- Knowledge of Private Credit markets, with exposure to infrastructure debt, real estate debt, and/or corporate direct lending highly desirable;
- Advanced financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving capability, with strong attention to detail and judgement;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency across Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint;
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Science or another analytical discipline;
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and workstreams concurrently.
