What you’ll do


In this senior engineering role, you’ll lead the design, development and integration of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions across a complex enterprise environment, with a strong focus on automation, security uplift and practical delivery.


  • Lead SailPoint IdentityIQ integrations with Telstra internal systems, developing and enhancing patterns of integrations with various target systems for rapid onboarding using out of the box capabilities
  • Guide Identity Engineers across analysis, design, build, deployment and production support activities, with a strong focus on automation
  • Analyse and advise on Identity requirements to ensure effective and appropriate solutions are being provided to the internal customers during application onboarding.
  • Maintain tracking and traceability between requirements, design, and test cases to demonstrate evidence of milestones to achieve solutions

About you

You’re a senior Security Engineer with hands-on experience in Identity Governance and Administration, ideally with SailPoint IdentityIQ in a large enterprise environment.


You’re comfortable leading complex integrations, solving technical problems and partnering with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable outcomes.


You will have experience with :

  • SailPoint IdentityIQ, including Wworkflows, forms, access rules, connectors, APIs and Standard Services Build.
  • Application and identity provider integrations with directory services.
  • Java, J2EE, Tomcat, MySQL, Oracle, Unix scripting or related engineering technologies.
  • Kubernetes, AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
  • CI/CD DevOps pipelines, Active Directory, Azure AD or SCIM 2.0.

You’ll work on technology that directly supports Telstra’s security posture and access governance maturity, while collaborating with experienced engineers across a large-scale enterprise environment. We value different perspectives, practical problem-solving and inclusive teamwork.
