Overview

With over 17,000 employees worldwide, the mission of the Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization is to empower customers to accelerate business value through differentiated customer experiences that leverage Microsoft’s products, services, and partnerships. Come join CE&S and help us build a future where customers achieve their business outcomes faster with technology that does more.

The Federal Government and Defence Security CSA team leads and delivers the hands-on security advisory capability for Microsoft's most sensitive public sector customers in Australia. Our core goal is to help these customers secure their environments and realise the full value of their Microsoft security investment, while also driving consumption and adoption of Microsoft's security platform, Sentinel, Defender, Purview and Security Copilot, across the Federal Government and Defence estate.

Based in Canberra, our team sits closest to the customers who need us most, giving us a genuine advantage in understanding their mission and their threat environment. We own the delivery cadence across milestone management, Engineering Delivery Engagements and Unified security engagements, acting as the trusted technical bridge between what Microsoft builds and what these customers actually need to operate securely. As frontier AI reshapes how security operations run, we're leaning in early, building the agentic SOC and AI-powered security practices our customers will need next, not reacting to them. Our team prides itself on being direct and accountable, holding execution excellence as a non-negotiable, and backing every person on the team to grow into their next role.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
