Are you a detail-driven professional who thrives on keeping projects on track? Hastings Deering is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our Services Support Team in a permanent, full-time role (Monday–Friday).
You’ll work closely with Project Owners, Supervisors, and Operational stakeholders to build and maintain accurate schedules, track progress, and identify risks early across mining equipment (e.g., Machine Rebuilds, Planned Component Rebuild programs, and more). Beyond individual projects, you’ll help embed best-practice scheduling across Hastings Deering, driving consistency, efficiency, and transparency.
What You'll Deliver On:
- Develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project / Project Online
- Align project activities with capacity, milestones, and risks
- Publish regular updates and track progress against baselines
- Collaborate across teams and regions (via MS Teams, occasional site travel)
- Support continuous improvement and standardisation of scheduling practices
About You
You’re motivated, organised, and confident in managing project schedules. Ideally you’ll bring:
- Experience planning/scheduling in mining, construction, or heavy industry
- Strong MS Project / Project Online skills
- Knowledge of rebuilds/equipment assembly (desirable)
- Ability to communicate, navigate and influence across different stakeholder groups
- A continuous improvement mindset & proactive communication style
