What you'll be doing.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cost optimisation and value engineering projects
- Manage a portfolio of initiatives delivering against savings and performance targets
- Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial teams
- Drive governance processes including Stage & Gate forums and leadership updates
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain momentum
- Support business case development and track financial outcomes
- Create clear, compelling communication to align stakeholders and drive decisions
- Champion continuous improvement in project tools, templates, and delivery methods
What you'll need to be successful.
- 4-5+ years' experience in project management, ideally within a Stage & Gate environment
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or complex matrix organisations (preferred)
- Exposure to cost optimisation, value engineering, or continuous improvement (advantageous)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across multiple functions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and delivery discipline
- Confident communicator, able to present insights and recommendations clearly
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
